Job Summary:

Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, & Laundry. Directs and works with employees to ensure property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

# Making staff duty schedule for housekeeping & laundry, hire & train all housekeeping personnel.

# Control all departmental costs including labor, guest room supplies & cleaning supplies.

# Insure services rendered the guests are of the highest standards.

# Maintaining accurate records on all housekeeping personnel & up to date payroll records.

# Maintaining accurate inventory records on guestrooms, cleaning supplies, equipment, linen & uniforms.

#Conducting monthly staff meetings to maintain good communication & high moral standards within the department.

# Making a schedule for deep cleaning & preventative maintenance programs to ensure appearance & life of all furniture, fixtures & equipment.

# Working with all others departments to meet their needs as it relates to housekeeping.

# Making yearly budgets for labor& operating expenses with relation to occupancy forecast.
