RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring planning and implementation of QA/QC requirements during the project execution

phases. I.e. starting from initiation to Project Handover.

• Conducting detailed quality assessments to determine capability and ability to adhere with

project specification requirements of suppliers/contractors/subcontractors/TPIs/NDT Service

providers/Destructive testing laboratories etc.

• Provide input on the material selection activities with respect to process application to the

engineering team.

• Participate and conduct the failure investigation followed by RCA and provide short / long term

action plans.

• Review/Approval of detailed engineering contractor and vendor deliverables related to quality

(QA/QC) activities.

• Providing proactive quality and technical inputs in the areas of detailed engineering contractor

screening, quality system and program development, inspection planning / execution.

• Independently performing inspection / surveillance at vendor’s facility during manufacturing

and assess the vendor’s QA/QC programs.

• Assisting engineering with development of engineering specifications on quality (QA/QC),

inspection and testing criteria.

• Review and approval of project specific Inspection and Test Plans, procedures, WPS/PQR &

WPQ qualifications submitted by vendor.

• Verify materials (MTRs, alloy material identification, statutory certifications etc.), survey

manufacturing operations (forming, welding, processing, dimensional, finishes, etc.) and

witness nondestructive testing, destructive tests, and validate results for compliance to

specifications.

• Issuing surveillance /evaluation reports documenting surveillance activities.

• Issue SQ clearance reports to release the products for shipment.

• Complete Vendor Performance Measurement on all orders.

• Act as Interface between Customer and vendor.

• Coordination with other disciplines within the organization on technical issues.

• Co-ordination with customer representatives and vendors for planning and timely execution of
