Kevin Cullity – Career Summary / Cover Letter

I am a banking and capital markets professional with over 25 years of diverse experience and a heavy focus on interest rate derivatives, credit default swaps and debt origination. The scope of debt origination includes underwriting and distribution of senior secured debt, asset backed securities, covered bonds and collateralized loan obligations.

I have been successful at institutional sales and client relationship management. I am known by public debt issuers as I have underwritten bonds for organizations such as World Bank and the US Agencies, provided hedging on new issue debt and for ALM. I have done this at Mizuho and at HSBC.

I am proficient at cross currency, USD basis and USD option pricing. I am knowledgeable regarding most major fixed income markets. I have assisted clients with hedging of USD MBS. I have cultivated relationships with many fixed income dealers in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.

I have been involved with the negotiation and execution of ISDA/CSA, CDEA, MRA and MSFTA documentation with clients.

I managed the BSEF and TW SEF client interface at Mizuho for electronic trading of interest rate swaps. I am also familiar with Bloomberg and TW for UST execution as well as experience on Bloomberg FX All.

One of my last projects was assisting clients and Mizuho Bank with understanding LIBOR transition exposure. Accounts are looking at overall exposure when moving from LIBOR to SOFR or Fed Funds OIS.

I have executed electronic and voice trades acting as a buy side client for credit hedging purposes. Typical trades were CDX indices and single name CDS. My experience in fixed income has been with investment grade corporates and high yield cash and non- IG CDS.

For the last seven years I have focused primarily on the non-bank FIG sector. In my earlier career I received credit training while at Manufacturers Hanover (now JPM) and went on to work in middle market banking and then at Royal Bank of Canada I worked in the multi-national corporate credit group. My supervisory experience started at Ford Motor Credit Company when I was managing the Northern New Jersey call center (Roseland, NJ). At HSBC I supervised an institutional sales coverage group for the distribution of banking and capital markets products and services.
