Education

New Jersey Institute of Technology August 2019

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

IBM Data Science Professional Course Anticipated Completion December 2020

Work Experience

GIS Technician II - Mott Macdonald

Analyzed Service Cards and utilized GIS Software to measure and draw Gas Demand Points, Service Lines, Main Lines, Valves, Test Points and Multi Meters in each map grid.

Utilized SQL to Self-Quality Control map grids and ensured that Pressures, Codes, Test Data, Manufacturer Info, Materials and Size of Pipes, were correct.

Drafter - Axens North America

Created and Edited drafts for Material & Metallurgical Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping Instrument Diagrams, Mechanical Sketches of Components, and Operating Instructions using AutoCAD for Oil and Gas plants.

Performed calculations for Tanks and Columns as well as helped design an adapter for cutting catalyst bags

Projects

Retrofitted Liquid Cooling for Air Cooled Engines (Senior Design Project)

Designed a Conversion kit for air-cooled motorcycle and car engines into a liquid cooled engine with minimal installation to prevent overheating and seizing.

Collaborated and built the CAD models, Pugh Analysis, ANSYS Simulation, BOMs and completed the calculations. Developed solutions to different models of a thermal system, selected the most efficient design and validated them

Created a cooling loop that can effectively cool the engine 19% while being more cost effective than competitors

3D Printing a 3D Printer Build

Designing and assembling a 3D printer that can be printed using a 3D Printer.

CAD Assembly of the frame was created and printed using PLA, electronics were fitted in and the printer is currently being tested.

Configuring and Troubleshooting Electronics and Software to get accurate prints

Redesign of a Stovetop Espresso Maker

Redesigned a Standard Moka Pot to allow more efficient heat transfer and boil the water at a faster rate.

●Designed parts for the CAD model assembly, conducted thermal simulation of the sandwich using ANSYS, tracked Bill of Materials and selected the material based on thermal Conductivity Tensile Strength, Modulus of Elasticity and Cost.

Created a Helical Fin and Copper-Aluminum Composite Solution that reduced brew time by 2 min

Piston Ring Metallurgical Analysis

●Selected different metals to select a better material for a piston ring than the currently available material

●Materials were selected based on Heat Transfer, Hardness, Wear Resistance, Tensile Strength, Modulus of Elasticity and Cost. Cad Model of the Piston Ring and Piston was created. Thermal Analysis using ANSYS Simulation was conducted.

●AISI 440B was chosen using a merit function because of high Wear Resistance Hardness, and Thermal Conductivity
