Set up all facility needs to ensure a seamless start-up. This includes, but not limited to, hiring, office design, operational equipment needs, safety supplies, facility vendor requirements and contracts, ingredient supplier set-up, facility SOP's, and initial regulatory requirements.

Turned a weekly profit in the 3rd week of a new facilities' operation, and maintained a weekly profit every week since, for 4 1/2 years, and completing the full ROI on the facility, much earlier than anticipated.

Klosterman Baking Company - Springfield, OH

November 2018 to September 2020

Oversee all aspects of the facility including Receiving, Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, Quality, Safety, Shipping, Transportation and Office, including over 200 employees, in 2 unions, on 2 Production lines.

Responsible for P&L and budgets.

Safety record shows vast improvement compared to plant history.

Plant Manager/Vice President

Automatic Rolls of North Carolina/Division of Northeast Foods - Clayton, NC

February 2011 to November 2018

Managing on site as this new facility was being built, resulting in being fastest single oven bun plant in the world. Started facility at the full throughput capacity.

Responsible for P&L.

Designed annual budgets, and achieved all annual budgetary goals throughout my tenure.

Designed Safety Team, effectively resulting in an outstanding safety record, including a reduction of accidents in each year of the facilities' operation.

Successful BRC audit scores averaging 3 minors in my tenure.

Plant Manager/Vice President

Automatic Rolls of Virginia/Division of Northeast Foods - Fredericksburg, VA

October 2007 to February 2011

Took over Plant Managerial duties over the facility as the previous Manager retired.

Managed all Facility Departments including Production, Engineering, Quality, Sanitation, Office, and Transportation.

Maintained then improved an already successful operation, by increasing annual efficiency by 1.1%, and reducing waste by .9%. Root cause analysis implementation, and data based decision making were the ultimate drivers of the improvement.

Established an environment of cross-trained employees, utilizing upgraded SOP's throughout facility, resulting in an annual direct/indirect labor reduction of 5.3%

Philadelphia Baking Company/Division of Northeast Foods - Philadelphia, PA

April 2003 to October 2007

Managed staff and union employees in producing Private Label baked goods.

Directly responsible for P+L.

Increased profit by 300k despite declined sales.

This resulted from increasing efficiency by 5.1% and reducing waste by 4.7%.

The key impacts were the development of S.O.P.'s and their verifications, the implementation of S.P.C., improved P.M.'s and verifications, and the implementation of incident tracking logs.

Directed staff to pass all inspections/audits including AIB and OSHA.

The facility received unsatisfactory scores prior to my arrival.

Implemented cost effective systems of control over operating expenditures and manpower.
