Gilead has initiated a serialization program to respond to the DQSA (Drug Quality and Safety Act) act of 2013 and similar legislation in many of the countries that Gilead sells product including the European Union, South Korea, Brazil, Turkey and China among others. These regulations primarily are aimed at securing the drug supply chain against counterfeit drugs and to obtain complete traceability of the supply chain for the dispensed drugs.

Gilead needs a robust warehouse solution that meets all serialization requirements in terms of connecting upstream/ downstream with ATTP an EBS systems respectively, the new traceREADY Edge warehouse system has inbuilt connectors which helps Gilead meeting compliance requirements and performing operations in warehouse in a most optimal manner, traceREADY implementation will allow to meet all these requirements.
