Personal Statement:-

A challenging career as a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, having 25 years experience in EPC projects in the field of engineering and construction for Oil and Gas (Onshore projects), LNG, Petrochemicals, Refineries & Power Projects in Leading international EPC companies. Further develops my skills for career prospects.

Execution of Piping & Pipelines including Cross Country, Supervision and Inspection of fabrication and erection of different types of Piping, Structures & Pipe supports for Oil & Gas & Power. Understanding P&IDs, LDT and Material Specification tables, knowledge of Hydro/Pneumatic testing, Punch listing and System Walk Downs & Closure, excellent knowledge of Cryogenic (VIP) Piping, also are familiar with and knowledgeable about oil and gas industry Standard Work Process Procedure (SWPP).

Responsibilities Years of involvement in the field of:-

Oil and Gas Industry, Power Projects, Cross County Pipeline, LNG, Refineries and Petrochemicals (Onshore Projects) over 25 years.

Provide technical assistance to the Piping Superintendents, Area Superintendents and Area Field Engineer and keeps them informed on matters relating to quality control.

Establishes with the client personnel, parameters on testing, installation and turnover of systems.

Determines area priorities for piping installation through consultation with Area Supervision.

Establishes communications with the Piping Design Group to resolve design problem.

Review the project schedule and working with Piping Superintendents and Area Field Engineer, Procurement reviews the 90/180 day schedules as required.

Identify and recommends resolutions of non-conformances and corrective actions to Contractors site construction team and monitors to satisfactory close-out.

Review, mark up and participate in Contractors Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) ensure Customer monitor, witness and hold points included in ITPs are implemented.

Performs inspection of all piping work in progress on a continuing basis. Witnesses tests and Completes final P&ID checks prior to turnover to the client.

Assists the Piping Superintendents and Area Field Engineers in solving Piping Problems.

Issues job wide inspection criteria that may be over & above the normal piping inspection.

Writes material requisitions for all pipe testing equipment, test blinds, gaskets, required for the job.

Assists Superintendent in establishing pipe spool, pipe support and valve delivery priority.

Reports weekly installed quantities to the Cost Engineer.

Executes field takeoffs from Design Drawings and provides input to the Project quantity tracking system.

Assists Area Engineers on Piping related problems to obtain vendor information, substitutions and other design related piping problems.

Assists the Field Procurement Supervisor in the inspection and receipt of piping materials and in the setting up of project controls for storage and protection of Piping Materials.

Analyzes the need for field shop spooling and assists supervision in determining the amount of piping to be shop fabricated.

Maintains record prints with as-built information for all piping systems when required. Underground systems must be as-built prior to backfill.

Determines the scope of any piping areas not shown on the normal piping drawing, such as steam tracing, package unit interconnection piping and lubrication systems on equipments.

Monitors the off-site spool fabrication to coordinate the proper priority flow of spools to the site. Also maintain updated delivery schedules from the fabricator through the expediting department.

Monitors code designs systems to coordinate flow of information to welding and material control in order to properly control this documentation.

Develops labour saving methods of pipe installation such as preparation of assemblies, bending, or off-site preassembly.

Designs both large and small bore piping hangers when required.

Determines the amount of small bore pipe(two inch and under) fabrication to be done in the field for the straight length for rack piping Develop field sketches of site fabrication facility based on the site condition. Making Isometric drawing from General arrangement when required. Minimize the critical fabrication of Alloy, Stainless and Duplex piping. Determine how much will be fabricated at the erection point considering availability of Crane and Crane access.

Generates Piping Insulation Penetration, sealing, painting, heat tracing and paving releases.
