Abstractor
Research courthouse computer systems, books, general indices and estate and tax assessment records to compile information pertaining to chain of title for a specific property as far back as the 1800’s. Analyze and interpret title documents affecting record title ownership of mineral and leasehold rights. Proficient in metes and bounds and section, township, range. Submit reports and results of researching liens, mortgages, right of ways, easements, back taxes, mineral ownership and verification of current ownership. Maintain responsibility for multiple on-going assignments and adhere to continual deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Work in areas including but not limited to Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
