Responsibilities:

Gather details from application SME’s, information needed to run the Cloud readiness assessment tools.

The CalWIN Consortium (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids Information Network) was developed as a modern technological solution for efficiently administering public assistance programs and providing quality service to the communities.

CalWIN is a integrated on-line, real-time automated system with 26 subsystems to support eligibility and benefits determination, client correspondence, management reports, interfaces and case management for public assistance programs.

Responsibilities:

Developed and designed the reusable sub flows for error checking, Business exception handling and logging.

Developed ESQL for calling stored procedures and external Java interfaces from Compute Nodes.

Involved in the design and development of web Services.

Exposed different Web Services using HTTP Nodes to support SOA.

Built an Error Module using TryCatch nodes to catch the exceptions and later logged error messages and Exception List on to the Queue.

Used Clear Case to keep track of which versions of which files were used to build each internal & external release of a software product.

The LEADER (Los Angeles Eligibility, Automated Determination, Evaluation and Reporting) System automates administration of welfare programs in Los Angeles County (Cal Works, Food Stamp, Medi-Cal and GR-General Relief); including eligibility determination, benefit calculation, case maintenance and management/fiscal reports and controls.

YBN Integration project is aimed at integrating the various lines of business of LEADER together using the Websphere MQ series and Websphere Message Broker forming the integration components. The entire YBN is supported by a backend Mainframe system with MQ series/WMQI being on 2200 platform.

Responsibilities:

Configured WMQ and WMB on Windows/AIX.

Involved in the design and development of complex integration services using WMB and MQ.
