Project: IBAU

IBAU project is a part of EBP platform and is responsible for getting information from Ibau (german tender) and verify some aspects as data accuracy, data confidentiality and percentage data repetition. After this data is sent to other department to add tags and be classified. Once it is done data is sent to the publishers. Project runs on transition from Waterfall to Agile methodology. IBAU project ran with 3 developers and myself as Technical Test Manager. Environment: WINDOWS, C#, Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server. Responsibilities:

● Responsible for the whole test strategy for a platform that parses information from some european tenders to compose two important European engineering magazines.

● Responsible for creating and configuring all needed test environments to run the automated tests.

● Author that created the first Unit Test project using 'Moq' tool in a C# platform and 'SQL Server' as a database.

● Responsible for leading the acceptance tests with the clients located in Germany.

● Responsible for creating, updating and showing the test report for internal and external clients.

Project scope is to retain and to maintain the greatest number of consumers in terms of printing. Instant Ink was a platform created by HP to allow users to get a good experience with printing. Instant Ink portfolio ran in the Agile methodology geographically distributed (USA, Brazil and China) and composed of 5 subprojects. I actuated directly in 2 of them as a QA Lead and QA Lead of the overall portfolio.

Environment: UNIX, Capybara, Selenium Grid2, testNG, Pivotal Tracker, Scrum, Agile Environment, web services, SOAP UI, Putty. Platform: All browsers.

Responsibilities:

● Responsible for the whole test strategy for a platform responsible for establishing the agreement among HP and customers in terms of ink consumption.

● Responsible for test estimation and effort inside a scrum team using the 'Pivotal Tracker' tool.

● Responsible for test management in different geographic locations: China, USA and Brazil.

● Responsible for test automation creating and maintenance for a frontend system using 'Ruby' programming language with

‘Cucumber’ (BDD tool), 'Selenium' and 'Capybara' test tools, 'Linux' as OS and 'GIT' as control version systems.

● Responsible for delivering test code through 'Jenkins' tool.

Mobile printing is a platform responsible for storing documents in a cloud system based and allows customers to print documents in a closer print location. HP created a lot of kiosks inside the USA to make this idea possible and provide a good printing experience to customers. The project that I acted on was a backend part of this portfolio. Environment: UNIX and Windows, Load Runner, Pivotal Tracker, Scrum, Agile Environment, web services, SOAP UI, Putty, cURL. Responsibilities:

● Responsible for the whole test strategy for a platform responsible for storing documents for a cloud system and allows print them in a closer public print location.

● Responsible for API test automation and delivery for a backend service that ran in 'Java' platform.

● Responsible for performance testing using the 'Load Runner' tool.

● Responsible for functional testing in mobile devices. Other projects inside HP between 2005 – 2010:

● HOPPER: During 1 year, I worked as a QA Lead for a project that was responsible for management of Virtual Machines from Enclosure HP system. Main responsibilities were managing QA activities and reporting the status to the US team.

● CapAd: During 4 years, I had worked with a capacity planning project as QA Lead. It is a virtualization project and it estimates the usage of CPU, Memory, Disk IO and Network utilization when a new virtual machine is created inside a VM Host as well as the energy consumed when it occurred. My main activities were guaranteeing the quality of the project, managing a QA team (ten people) and doing some automated testing in Java, Selenium, TestNG with Eclipse IDE.
