Job Description:
Supervision of the installation, Pre-commissioning and commissioning of the following systems:
• Electrical Power System:
- WAFA & Mellitah Pig trap station supplied by the main power system of the plant.
- All Line Valve Stations (LVS) along the pipelines route are supplied by Solar Power Systems with total power of 4.5 Kw for each station.
• Grounding System:
- All stations have Grounding system provided for personal safety, protection of equipments, lighting and electrostatic discharge.
• Cathodic Protection System (CPS):
- Temporary Cathodic Protection System:
o During construction using Sacrificial anodes system
- Permanent Cathodic Protection System:
o Impressed Current, 10 CPS are power supplied by the Solar Power System, and provided to protect both Oil & Gas Pipelines.
o CPS No.1 at WAFA Plant is supplied by Transformer Rectifier From the Plant. o At Mellitah Plant, WAFA Plant and Pig Trap Station the small pipes and underground tanks are protected by Sacrificial Anodes System.
• Final Documentation and AS-Built Drawings:
Revision of final documentation and as-built drawings for electrical power, grounding and cathodic protection systems for the above mentioned projects.
