Brief overview of the Project

The process to be automated starts with daily report creation for Membership team and ends with saving chargebacks in SAP based on reports received back from Membership team. The activities performed involve downloading of the summary report (ZUS_V33) in SAP and adjusting it to be used for ZUS_V141 transaction, downloading of Chargeback analysis report in ZUS_V141, sorting data as per contract numbers and DUNS (340B ID) numbers, removing 340B ID, downloading of linking report, running of the macro to create reports for Membership team and uploading of all reports to SharePoint Once reports are processed by Membership team and sent back, opening of email, opening of attached report and saving chargebacks in SAP.

Description:

Marks and Spencer plc (also known as M&S) is a major British multinational retailer headquartered in the City of Westminster, London. It specializes in the selling of clothing, home products and luxury food products. M&S was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds. These are maintained separately, and the databases are totally isolated. This increases the cost of maintenance as there are number of isolated M&S systems exist all over the world's, M&S decided to merge these systems in a single system. Data Migration is required to data of any Source System to a Target System. After migration of data, all the source systems are replaced by the Target System and the client applications access the same data from the Central Repository of the Target System.

Creating SSIS Packages by using different data Transformations like Derived Column, Conditional Split, Merge Join, Union, Lookup, and Execute SQL Task to load data from different data sources into application database.
