Introduction

Homosexuality is a feature of being attracted sexually by members or people of the same gender. John Corvino argues that homosexuality isn't ordinary. Neither is it normal for them to have sex. According to the author, there isn’t a genuine reason besides the opposition that homosexuality is virtual, immoral, lifestyle option of people, and the fancies are innate from some people. All these arguments, according to the author, neither of them satisfies his say about homosexuality (Corvino, & Sherif 21) In this essay, a summary explaining his denial on homosexuality is well discussed between John and Jimmy by John Corvino.

Discussion

Corvino argues that homosexuality isn't generally done because animals do not either do it, but human beings do, which means that it's a choice of pleasure that defies intrinsic desires. This explanation is actually to the point because many inborn preferences shouldn't be practiced, like the natural likelihood of brutality (Corvino, & Sherif 45). There are lots of wants which are not innate, and yet superbly moral to take action. In an occurrence that I tend to write using my right hand, but that doesn't concur that it's immoral to use my left hand. So innateness of inclination is not adequate for wickedness (Sorkin & Anton,7)

According to Corvino, homosexuality contradicts the natural sexual organ define purpose. Numerous body organs are used in many ways. The real nose function isn't to hold earphones, but it isn't unusual to use them for that role. So it isn't immoral to have pleasure, and intensify relationships, even though, by doing that, you won't be using the organ to do t natural function. Moreover, this act is harmful. It anguishes little kids because the likelihood of becoming lesbigay is high (Sorkin & Anton,78). Too, it distresses society by declining the procreation rate. It is also harmful in such that relationships are slightly enriching than the ties of heterosexuals. Too, it causes misery and suicide. When it’s said that statistical proof that depression is lofty in those practicing homosexuality, this doesn’t mean that this act can lead to suicidal and misery, instead it could be society's deficient treatment of homosexual victims, which cause suicide and anxiety. Besides, the homosexual act is disgusting; Corvino argues that numerous disgusting activities are not immoral, just like it is when eating snails. Thus, it doesn't mean that being repulsive is not ample for being wicked. (Corvino, & Sherif 98)

Conclusion

In summary, according to the author John Corvino, homosexuality isn't healthy; neither is it morally upright. Homosexuality is full of no help according to his statements, and either should it be practiced by either gender.
