Nortek Security & Control (NSC) is an international electronics hardware / software manufacturer. A parent company for an umbrella of dozen world class brands that provides a variety of electronics to distribution, retailers and direct dealer partnerships alike.

As a Regional Sales Manager, I was responsible for NSC Direct CI Business Channel for the West Coast, Southern California Territory. In this capacity, I was responsible for cultivating and developing new business, monitoring sales growth.

• Complete managerial oversight of NSC's flagship control line ELAN. By developing strategies within my territory for dealer success, new product launch, brand awareness, MAP and dealer on boarding. Monitoring daily channel metrics of NSC’s customer purchase patterns.

• Partnering with NSC’s builder channel leadership by leading opportunity meetings with local and national home builders. This included the deployment of all NSC umbrella brands, including ELAN and 2GIG products in order to outfit MDU’s, new home communities and commercial developments. My achievements included:

• First Regional Manager to close an IOT ELAN 2GIG upscale apartment development. This deployment of smart apartment technology allowed NSC’s connected home strategy to flourish.

• Leading the top sales performing nationally Q4 of 2019 Branch Manager, Volutone / SnapAV, Riverside

Volutone LLC/Snap AV sold product directly to electronics dealers throughout the United States.

As Branch Manager, my responsibilities included, clear leadership developing a team of sales personnel, building and retaining customer relationships, inventory management, establishing and analyzing performance metrics, and daily input & output logistics.

My achievements included:

• Developing an in-house sales playbook by engaging and testing pre-programmed product platforms. This topology lifted dealer confidence as they deployed systems in the field with little or zero failure rate. My plan resulted in a new vertical profit channel within Volutones operation. Our Goal in mind was to minimize end user product conflicts, substantial margin increase in a growing competitive market. As this formula flourished our location hit record volume unit movement.

• Coaching a number of employees, teaching them to manage metric gaps and identify recommended courses of action to executive management. As a result, these individuals were able to promote into higher level positions.

Magnolia Audio Video is the worlds largest leading custom integrator. Best Buy parent company acquired Magnolia Audio Video (MAV) back in 2003.

• Providing system designs and sales proposals to affluent customers seeking premium lifestyle solutions. This would include large scale automation (control systems) specifically designed in mind bridge an ecosystem with the end-user.

• Our platform would scale from a residential home to a commercial complex. Specifically lighting control, scaling video systems (VOIP), video walls, multi room audio, small business network solutions and enterprise networks. Finally all system designed included were tailored with custom CAD rack topology layout for seamless deployment.

My achievements included:

• Presidents Club writer 2013, expected to close 1 million in revenue annually at an average of 40% profit margin.

Best Buy is the worlds largest innovative leading brick and mortar electronic retailer. At Best Buy, I managed a store location of $30 million in annual revenue and a staff of approximately 60 people, including department supervisors. During my time there, I developed early iterations of the employee training programs that I have adapted and still utilize today.
