CAREER HISTORY:

From Feb-20 to Date in ITC WATER &Bottling Company Riffa as Operation & Quality Manager.

To do water analysis tests like to check Ozone, Total Cl2, PH, Conductivity and TDS in running

production and to take corrective actions if found any abnormality.

Regularly check the water analysis of raw water trucks as per specifications.

To Check Micro organism Bacteria tests like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Total Bacteria(TBC) and Coliforms by Membrane Filteration apparatus.

To check Bacteria test by Psedualert method using Fluorescence ANALYSIS CABINET.

To do Disinfection and flushing of ozone tank, water tank in filling machine station and product

lines as well and to make sure that O3, cl2 and H2O2 after disinfection within specifications.

To conduct tests like Fluride,Nitrite, Nitrate, SO4 and Iron by using specific testing procedures and using Spectrometer DR3900.

Responsible for calibration of all related instruments like Spectrometer, Conductivity meter, PH

meter etc.

To check Alkanlity, Calcium Hardness and total hardness by using Titration method.

Responsible to maintain proper stocks of all chemicals under use for testing purpose.

-Commissioning of Reverse osmosis system for water treatment purification and Remineralzed unit.

To look after day to day operation activities and machine performance includes Water Filling and

washing machines, Labelling machines, Packaging machines, Blow molding machines.

To monitor and adjust the machine parameters as per product change.

Responsible to make proper inventory level of Reforms, Packing boxes, Bottle caps, Stretch films,

Glues, Labels etc.

Calculation of chemicals required to inject in water as per specs.

To follow the disinfection weekly plan and make sure that it is done with right injection of doze like oxonia,Sodium hypochlorite or Pc11 chemicals at different steps.

Reverse osmosis unit both for ist stage and second stage which utilized water with high TDS from ist stage.

Responsible for administration of employees inducted in shift.

Troubleshooting of any fault and coordination with Engineering team to resolve within due course

of time.

To follow the production plan circulated by Sales and marketing and utilize all resources to meet

the customer’s delivery date.

Conduct daily meeting and discuss all problems regarding the Machine, Materials, Quality, Dispatch and Finance.

From Aug 2009 – Aug2019 – Assistant Production/Plant Manager at CPIC Abahsain Fiberglass W.L.L Bahrain.

CPIC Abahsain Fiber Glass is currently producing 280 tons/day of different glass products for different applications to make composites after blending with polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy resins. CPIC Fiber glass comprise of two glass furnaces with capacity of 80000 MT/year and 30000MT year respectively.

Jobs Responsibilities:

To assist General Manager in all administrative and technical matters regarding plant operation.

To make production plan with the coordination of Sales deptt keeping in view the customer,s required delivery schedules and with optimum product changes in order to reduce production loses and to reduce wastages and at the same time to achieve customer,s delivery schedules.

To coordinate with sales team to align the sales order vs production capacity and to follow the customer,s requirement regarding product specifications and applications.

To coordinate with product line managers regarding raw materials,chemicals and packing materials, spare parts and consumables requirements and to make sure that sufficient quantities are available to meet the production plan.

To monitor day to day production operation and to make sure that daily production targets are met. Evaluation in case of not achieving the targets and to take preventive and corrective Actions accordingly.

Regularly overview of the process conditions, Quality issues, Non conformance of product and provide the optimum solution to line managers.

To do close coordination with Engineering team (Maint,Elect.Instrument) and discuss about planned plant maintenance to improve the machine performance and to improve the quality of product.

Conduct daily meeting and discuss all problems regarding the Machine, Materials, quality or any administrative issues and taking actions accordingly to solve. Giving direction to all subordinates for proper solution.

Weekly analysis of production cost and making programme for cost reduction by introducing new cheap raw material sources, Optimization of consumption of Energy, raw material and manpower etc.

To coordinate with purchase Manager and disscuss about maintaining proper inventory control of spare parts, raw materials, chemicals and packaging materials in order to avoid any halt in continuous production.

To develop alternative sources of each raw materials, Chemicals and spare parts to reduce cost and to avoid any unforeseen conditions.

Liaison with warehouse to implement FIFO and also analysis of products in stock and to take actions against long sitting products in WH.

To make annual Budget with limited sources and to implement effectively.

To do monthly and annual audit of production department by external account team.

To do daily check of finished product quality and take corrective actions if any parameter lies out of specs immediately in order to avoid the product downgraded in bulk quantity.

To monitor the production target given on daily basis and do the analysis in case of not achieving the target due to any reasons and take actions accordingly to achieve.

To make and lead one emergency response team for immediate corrective actions even during silent hours in case of power failure, Gas supply suspended, water failure or air supply failure. Training drill on weekly basis to boost up confidence of team members and to minimize loss of production and equipment if faced.

Responsible for smooth production operation and to make ensure all safety rules and regulations are being taken during normal operation or during maintenance of equipment.

Liaisons with maintenance team for the preventive maintenance of all equipment’s to avoid unscheduled breakdown of production. Always make sure for smooth continuous production operation.

To attend the frequent visits by Customers for audit the safe production operation and to ensure all key quality tools are in place to maintain high level of quality of product.

To hold product development meeting to discuss the new requirement of customers among R&D, Production, Quality dept.t and raise request to produce a sample production for taking approval from Customer within due course of time and informed to the customer for sample delivery accordingly.

To follow up on feedback of customers on sample product and its outcome shared with all stake holders until a regular business started on newly developed product.

To implement 5S technique for making the production area to look in more organized manner

To do analysis of KPI of each employee by end of each month and recommend the compensation benefits accordingly as per appraisal and company policy by top management.

To handle almost 200 employees inducted in production deptt. And responsible to manage their Annual leave schedules accordingly without affecting the production schedule.

Responsible for training of new employees including engineers, operators and contractors as per training programme as per company policy.

To Assist HR deptt for recruitment of new employees,Conducting interviews and to make and follow procedures for recruitment of new employees.Follow up on training schedules of new employees.

Worked as an internal Auditor ISO9001-2008 and responsible for its implementation successfully. Liaison with External Auditor for renewal of ISO certificate.

To train line managers for ISO internal Audit conducting twice in a year and to discuss Audit findings in Management review meeting. Assist to prepare all necessary documents like Level1, Level2, Level3 and Level4 documents. Liaison with External party TUV Nord to complete all required documentation

In case of any customer complaint,conduct the complaint meeting immediately with production and Quality control deptt,R&D deptt and S&M deptt. to find the root causes and suggesting preventive actions to solve amicably with customers.

Keep continues interaction internally and with the customer to resolve the complaint issue within the specific timeline.

To finalize the final settlement of complaint with the mutual agreement with customers and with prior approval from the top management.

Oct 2003 - Aug2009 – Worked as a Chemical Engineer in a well reputed manfacturing

Organization Ibrahim Fiber Limited Polyester plant Faisalabad.

IFL is 1200-tons/day polyester staple fiber-producing facility and is the biggest polyester fiber producing unit in Pakistan having latest DCS installed by Zimmer AG (Germany). It consists of two process units and a utility plant. The main process unit is polymer plant where PTA & MEG along with Antimony Tri Acetate as catalyst reacts to produce Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). The PET so produced is used in direct spinning for the production of UDY (Un-drawn Yarn), which is used in downstream plants to produce polyester staple fiber in cut and bailed shape and dispatched to Textile sectors for spinning and to weave into fabric with different dyes and styles.

Jobs Responsibilities:

To assist Areal Manager in all administrative and technical matters regarding plant operation.

Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the Production department. Also covering other aspects regarding product quality, process and hold up, emergency handling, power failure, start up and shut down activities

To have periodic rounds of deptts. Note down non conformities and to give instructions to subordinates. In case of major non conformities to inform to Area manager/Top Management and take corrective and preventive actions in consultation.

To check the process parameters of assigned unit and give instructions for making changes in process variables to achieve optimum results. To check analysis of quality control points and in case of deviations from standards to take corrective actions.
