Job Duties:

Point of contact for Plant Engineering and Procurement Depts. For purchasing equipment, requesting technical information, or installation scheduling of required materials to repair or maintain Nuclear Plants.

Coordinate effort to prepare quotes for materials required at Nuclear Plants by utilizing internal resources including engineering, quality control, and sourcing.

Upon customer order receipt process and coordinate all steps required to deliver customer order requirements on time. Effort included communicating with sourcing, engineering, quality, inspection, and logistics departments.

Responsible for scheduling all steps of the material flow process from receipt, receipt inspection, production, final inspection and shipment to the customer.

Point of contact for Incoming and Outgoing shipments. Met regularly with Internal and External Logistics departments and companies.

Maintained accuracy and movements for $18 million of Inventory.

Implemented cycle counting and other control processes that improved inventory accuracy from 68% to 99.9% over two-year period. Was able to reduce yearly inventory

counting by implementing cycle count process.

Responsible for measuring, maintaining, and reporting business metrics for productivity, efficiency, inventory accuracy.

Supervised 5-employee team.

Fenner Drives (7/95 – 6/07)

Production / Inventory Control Manager – Wilmington, NC

Fenner Drives is a leading global supplier of injected plastic components for exercise equipment and other material handling equipment manufacturers.

Job Duties:

Responsible for scheduling work force and required material for multi-department production flow process from receipt, receipt inspection, production, final inspection and shipment to the customer.

Point of contact for Incoming and Outgoing shipments. Negotiated with freight carriers to establish contracts that met company cost standards. Was able to improve freight costs by 20% within 2-year period.
