Built and managed a 2nd and 3rd shift operation, consisting of 8 Supervisors and 9 Leads along with 4 coordinators.

Hired and placed a crew from 20 employees up to 300+ that runs at 55% capacity of first shift within the first 12 months of job.

Corrected inventory after new launch of Red Prairie software in July to help upgrade systems and functionality of DC. Raised inventory accuracy from 83% to 96.7% by implementing cycle count teams on each shift doing ABC and Error location counts.

Upgraded to an automated conveyor Pick to Lights instead of RF picking, this goes along with our Direct to Consumer picking which is over half of our orders that are voice picked and checked internally.

Monthly reviews and counseling to maintain unity and growth at all levels m the floor associate up to Supervisors. We were able to produce at 80% capacity of first shift with 12% less labor and have increased quality by.7%.

Budget supplies and P@L lines to stay with in expense budget and help grow financially each quarter. Director left when Parent company announced changes and my position was eliminated as well.

Put together a 7 day work schedule with the plant manager in order to transition out of the 5 day week with 17% OT. Reduced OT to 5.4% within the first month.

Reduced turnover by 35% within 6 months and pull about 60 % of all the workload through 3rd shift.

Help streamline work crew from 40 down to 28 employees to accomplish amount of work needed to cover orders each day.

Implemented plan into practice working with maintenance to insure line start-up by 6am every day giving me the ability to structure the workload, and keep downtime to a minimum.

Helped implement an attendance point system, and trimmed down the workforce to allow us to bring in more work.

Helped combine the two shift operation into one shift by working with the planners to bring the work load into one operating shift. On June 30th end of the fiscal year we had cut costs by over 4500$ a month and added structure bringing production up 25%.

Hired as manager over the Bulk and Shipping departments on 2nd Shift, at the Morehead KY facility. Responsible for monitoring and achieving daily production goals along with monthly and yearly goal monitoring. Weekly progressions to monitor employee growth and make sure all safe practices are being followed. I have a daily start-up meeting to go over the day’s workload and set-up where the employees will be. Responsible for making sure my employees’ are properly trained and cross-trained to be the most cost effective.

Was placed in charge of the shipping department at the end of August, while in the first three months we attained a bonus for our production of 108%. The turnover was reduced by 10% as well. In the six months I was in shipping we averaged 107% production and achieved a cleaning score of 87%.

Left 3/10/11 after going through a reorganization in order to cut costs and align management with a new RVP and a full three shift operation.

Ran the Second Shift operation responsible for supplying Nissan with their parts on a timely basis, along with returning all empty parts containers to their original suppliers. Run an 8-10 hour shift consisting of about 30-50 employees.

Updated files of all employees and actions including raises, disciplinary actions taken, and maintenance issues with all equipment. Lowest turnover rate of all 3 shifts almost 80% retention rate.

Helped establish our Cross-dock facility in Canton Mississippi, reorganized and stabilize our new operation to this area. Involved with placing in procedures and guide lines for the employees as well as a training outline. Restructured and outlined a system to ensure the correct inventory is being rotated by FIFO. Completed assignments including adding a Switching contract to this location, and foot printing the warehouse turning around inventory issues to a 96% accuracy rate from 56%.

Due to a Companywide slow down with Nissan I was laid off from Linc Logistics as of 10/31/08.

Improved the packing of frame kits and output by 11% in less than 6 months. The last 6 months I was promoted to supervisor over the second shift Patio Door line.

Worked to help clean up and maintain an efficient and safe line. We have maintained an efficiency rating 99.8%, well above our goal for three straight months while reducing waste by 3 % more than other shifts. Effectively reduced overtime while increasing productivity.

Moved to glass department in March 2006 to improve and monitor the production of glass on second shift. Increase output of patio door glass by 30% by motivating and retraining employees.
