Position Held : Wet Utilities Engineer

Project : Al Rayyan Road Upgrade (Phase 2)

The Project works consist of developing of 5.5KM dual Road with 4 lanes in each direction with . 3No. (2 Level), 2No.(3 Level), 1No.(4 Level) Interchanges. The Project also include installation of 31KM

of Treated Sewage Water Pipes, 40KM of Storm Water Drainage Pipes, 32 KM of Potable Water Pipes

and 15KM long Foul Sewer Pipes network.

Duties comprise notably but not limited to overall supervision of all Wet Utilities Works, attending Inspection Requests, Witnessing and monitoring of Shut-down operations, review of Material submittals, Method statements, Shop drawings, etc.

Ensuring that all materials and equipment used in the permanent works comply with the project specifications.

Ensuring the work carried out with relevant permits and all equipment and operators are having the required licenses and certificates.

Ensuring Protection of all existing utilities during the site inspections and random visits.

Attending miscellaneous duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

Preparing daily progress reports based on the activities at Site.

Project: CP-628 Rehabilitation of Sewer Network,

The Project at “Madinat Khalifa” and “Murrah” includes demolishing of existing manholes, and constructing new GRP Lined Manholes, removal of existing sewer VC pipes of main line, house Connections and laying new VC pipes for the same. The Project at “Muntaza” Signal includes laying of 600mm dia. GRP Rising Main 600 metres long and numerous utility renewals, replacement & relocation of existing services, all highway reinstatements complied with Qatar Highway Specification & Codes of practice.

2B.May 2003 to Apr 2006:

Project: Cultural Village (KATARA) Project at West Bay for “The Heir Apparent Office”.

Phase 1 work includes Earthworks and site levelling, Two Lane Dual Way Road Works Carriageway Road Works around 4.8kilometers with 3No Roundabouts, Marine Works, Box Culverts, and different kinds of Services works such as Chilled water, Potable Water line, Irrigation, Treated sewerage line, Foul Water Sewage line, Road works and Different Utility Services such as Tele-communication, Low voltage, High Voltage Lines, etc.

Phase 2 works include different kind of buildings such as Amphitheatre with seating capacity of 6000, Multi-purpose Hall, and few low Rise buildings and Soft & Hard Landscaping Works, etc.

Responsibilities include but not limited to overall supervision of works and inspections, monitoring the daily progress, checking shop drawings, material submittals, material test reports, monthly progress reports, progress meetings and preparing the minutes of meetings, etc.

Conducting Material inspection and site inspections according to the ITP.

3. Sept 1997 to Feb 2000 HBK Contracting Co.Doha, Qatar

Position Held: Project Engineer

Project: CP-(359,262) Doha-Rayyan

Sewerage -The work includes construction of 200 to 400 diameters Sewer Trunk Mains with GRP Lined Manholes and House connections to existing properties and proposed new plots.

Served as Project Engineer for the project CP-262/1 “Doha- Rayyan” Sewerage Al-Assiery Area, The work includes construction of GRP Lined Manholes with 200 to 400 diameter Sewer Trunk Mains and House Connections.

Duties included but not limited to forward the material submittals for Consultants review, correspondence with consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, attending the monthly progress meetings with consultants, clients etc. executing the works in site by co-coordinating with surveyor, Foremen and charge hands, maintaining record sheets, lab test reports such as field density, concrete cubes, preparing monthly interim valuations, etc.

4.August 2015 to March 2018 :Diwan Al Emara Consultants

Position Held : Senior Civil Engineer

Project : Qatar Foundation/Time Qatar/ School Project in Al Khor

Qatar Akademy/ Al-Khor School Project includes the construction of 9No of School Blocks with GF& (GF+1) floors with Pre-cast Wall Panels (Tilt-up Wall Panels) and Hollow Core Slabs with internal Roads, Internal Drainage, Soft & Hard Landscape, etc.

It consists of a number of 2 storey (G+1) Buildings, with each building interconnected by canopy structures or shared external courtyard space

Duties comprise notably but not limited to overall supervision of Civil / Structural/Steel structural and Finishing works, review of Material submittals, Method statements, Shop drawings, Correspondence, attending Work, Material and Mock-up Sample inspections etc.

5.June 2012-June 2015 : ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTING GROUP

The wok includes the construction of Shopping Mall having Land area of 60,208M and Built up area of 245,475M, which consist of 2B+G+4F. The shopping Mall have Entertainment & Food court areas covered with Steel structural space frames, Hotel Suites, Cinemas, Hyper Market, Restaurants, Commercial outlets, etc.

The Project Work is construction of (B+G+1) Building at Al-Sadd .

Duties comprise of preparing Structural Shop drawings by coordinating with other disciplines of work such as MEP and Architectural Works and resolving any site structural issues. Making follow up with Consultant for Shop drawings, Method Statements and Material Submittals.

Self-Certification of Works prior to the inspections by client/consultants. Responsible for Conducting Pre/Post Concrete Tests, etc.

Preparing and Raising Material inspection request for various materials arrived on site and ensure closure of inspection request.

(NTPC) Coal handling plant works at Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, India. The

Works include construction of Steel structural Buildings of 8 Floors, 7 No floors of crusher house, 6No Ware Houses and

Main Control Room Building etc.

NTPC works at “Nagarjuna Sagar and Khammam” include Earth works such as site levelling and Machine Foundations, Cable Trenches and Main Control Room building, Fire fighting, and Administrative Buildings, etc.

Duties includes : Surveying works, Scheduling of works, preparing inspection requests, Supervision of structural, masonry and finishing works. Preparation of monthly progress reports, interim bills etc.
