SMACC Lab Social media analytics and visualization for client projects, using Sentiment Analysis, Geolocation, Edge Table with R and Python and Visualization with Gephi, Meltwater, and NUVI. Developed Python scripts to automate web scraping of social media accounts to analyze. Collection of data through web scraping and R libraries. Developed code in R and Python to extract data and create edge tables for analysis.

Crypto-currency Created predictive model to determine how 30 crypto currencies correlate to the USD and Gold. Correlation, Time Series, and Arima models were developed in R to create a predictive regression model on Crypto currency prices. Innovation Consulting Community (ICC) ISU interdisciplinary platform that furthers creative mindset through proposing solutions to complex problems and innovation in strategy to client projects Blockchain This project was initiated by a local insurance company that wanted to find the best use cases for Blockchain in it’s industry. As a team we researched the best use cases for the industry and chose the top three to further investigate. I led the subgroup in subrogation use case and developed the best plan for the insurance company to follow and implement if it chose to adopt Blockchain technology.

MLB team fan base Used data analytic techniques, heatmapping, time series, and descriptive analytics to answer “why” ticket sales have changed over the years. Through analytics we investigated how the team’s fan base changed as expressed through single game day tickets, group, and season ticket holders before and after 2015 season. Our deliverables provided insights on why this change may have occurred.
