This is a privately managed multi-speciality tertiary care hospital with approximately 400 beds located in Trivandrum, Kerala.
I work in the department of Anesthesia and critical care, which has a dedicated Anesthesia ICU and provides services to around 8 OT complexes. The department also provides non-operating room anesthetic sevices to MRI suite and Cath Lab. It also provides on-call services to various other ICUs and to A&E department.

This is a privately managed multi-speciality hospital with approximately 400 beds located in Trivandrum, Kerala.
I worked in the department of Anesthesia and critical care, which has a dedicated Anesthesia ICU and provides services to around 8 OT complexes. The department also provides non-operating room anesthetic sevices to MRI suite and Cath Lab. It also provides on-call services to various other ICUs and to A&E department.
I was involved in independently conducting cases in various surgical sub-specialities such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics &Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Oncosurgery, Urosurgery, Plastic surgery, Paediatric Surgery and assisted a few cases in Cardiothoracic surgery.
Apart from the OTs, I provided non-operating room anesthesia services to the abovementioned suites
I was involved in round the clock on-floor duties in our Anesthesia ICU and provided on-call critical care services to other ICUs such as Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, Obstetric ICU and Pediatricand Neonatal ICU
Throughout this 2 yr period, I had routine duties from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for around 6 days a week and once a week 24hr duties as well.
For a period of about 2 months, I performed USG guided regional nerve blocks for various upper and lower limb orthopaedic surgeries. I performed supraclavicular and interscalene brachial plexus blocks and fascia iliaca blocks under USG guidance.
I was posted in COVID ICU and OT for a period of 4 weeks where I provided anesthesia and critical care services like administering High Flow Nasal Oxygen, intubation, central venous cannulations, etc.
