Standarised the Power Plant Operation Process by implementing the 3T SOP which resulted in increasing the steam generation from WHRB, decreasing in specific steam consumption at turbine inlet from 4.30 to 4.21, reduction in auxiliary power consumption by proper planning and introducing schedule maintenance and reduce GCV gap between incoming coal and feed coal.

Standardised the Lining and Patching Process of the Induction Furnace by implementing 3T SOP which resulted in increase in average patching and lining life from 9.77 heats to 14.50 heats. The monetary benefit of increase of Patching and Lining life was approximately Rs. 72 Lakhs per annum (Breakdowns and shutdowns were not considered) or Rs. 41.46 per MT of LM Production.

Increased the average yield of Liquid Metal production in Induction Furnace (Total capacity of 58 MT – 5 Furnace) by 1.53% using modification in Raw Material input process, Chemical analysis and Installing Load cells in Cranes. The increase in yield resulted in reduction in cost of Rs. 383.18 per MT of LM Production. Also, the rejection of Billet due to inappropriate chemistry reduced by 3.5% in the month of Jan’2020. Increased the machine availability in SMS by implementing 3T SOP of Equipment (Mechanical & Electrical). Standardized the processes of LM preparation in SMS by writing and implementing 3T SOPs

• Trained all melter and shift-incharge for following the process

• Implemented TTCS (Train, Test, Certify & Score) Model to improve accuracy and Productivity of Melter and Shift In- charge.
