Handing of abnormalities in metallurgical process and part

Trouble shooting in metallurgical process

Testing and Analysis of NPD parts

Preparation of Material test report for NPD parts

Coordination for external lab testing

Involving continuous improvements for company growth and present In-house kaizens.

Improve processing methods to improve productivity and quality as well as to reduce waste and costs

Checking NDT testing like, MPI crack checking, Ultrasonic testing & eddy current testing.

Raw material inspection like (apparent density, flow rate, compressibility & dimension change)

Analyze carbon and Sulphur content Raw-material by using Carbon Sulphur analyzer.

Checking hardness in various hardness testers such as Rockwell, Brinell hardness and Vickers hardness tester & Micro Vickers hardness tester.

Cutting and polishing preparation for micro analysis.

Molding and micro sample preparation & Etchant preparation.

Analyze Micro structure (Ferrite, pearlite, martensite & cementite) and defects

(Oxidation, soot and Rust)

Checking effective case depth & total case depth.

Checking performance tests in universal testing machine, Tests like tensile test, Rupture test & demounting test.

Analyze the particle (Metallic and non-metallic particle size and count) by using Particle size analyzer, also Millipore inspection for Powder metal parts.

Analyze oxide layer thickness in steam treatment HEAT TREATMENT

Process establishment of new development parts in Sintering, steam treatment and all other Heat treatment process (case hardening, tempering, carburizing, and carbonitriding).

Process validation for running & new development parts in Sintering, steam treatment and all other Heat treatment process (case hardening, tempering, carburizing, and carbonitriding).

Induction hardening - Selection of coil for new part, creating and validating the new development parts, Trouble shoot handling and Job change managing. NON - DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

Successfully Completed in ASNT level II of Ultrasonic testing.

Successfully completed an training course of concepts, Techniques&
