Professional Experience

1.PLANNING/SCHEDULING/CONTROLS MANAGER:

Authorize, initiate and implement training workshops on Project Controls for new Ministry of Transport employees.

Initiate and authored the Master Schedule for 64 projects for Y2030 under the Ministry of Transport.

Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to program & portfolio for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.

Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.

Conducts Workshop Trainings and manages a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.

Lead the Project Controls team in preparing the project bid cost estimate and project budget. Define the scope of works and assign the WBS. Initiate and prepare the project overall revenue. Monitor the cost against the budget and prepare purchase orders according to procurement schedule.

Conducts training workshops for all stakeholders on Change Management (EOT) and Reporting Procedures and policies.

Responsible for contract-specific program schedule and cost control for the MODON Sudair-2 Industrial City project.

Authored the Programme Charter for the Sudair Industrial City Development program.

Co-authored the Time & Cost Management Systems of MODON Sudair-2 Industrial City project.

Interfaces the FEED project specific reporting to the program/projects controls system.

Monitor the implementation of schedules and plans of consultants and contractors, and reports the performance including the identification, approval and instruction of remedial actions.

Provides numerical support and validates recovery plans

Assist the Project Manager in the development of the contract program with the contractor.

Prepares weekly & monthly Dashboard & KPI reports for client’s approval.

Conducts Reporting & Change Management Procedures as knowledge transfer for all concerned stakeholders.

Revised and authored the Royal Commission (RC) – Yanbu Projects Control Section’s Work Flow Procedure.

Schedule and determines the milestone dates for up-coming projects

Evaluate and approve Contractors’ Level 4 & 5 programs.

Analyses the documentation concerning the work progress of the Contractors and the site in general, reporting to the Project Controls Manager any schedule impacts against the major milestones.

Analyses Contract Schedule changes and recommends measures to minimize the impact on the original schedule.

Integrate all active projects into one Project Development Schedule and reporting performance progress against it.

Conducts negotiation with Contractors in cases of Schedule changes and claims.

Manages Change Evaluation & Forensics on Contractor’s claims.

Prepares presentations to the RC Executive President on evaluation for Extension of Time (EOT) allowed for specific contracts.

Mentored and supervised 2 Principal Project Control schedulers and 12 Contractor planners.

Negotiate with Contractor regarding Schedule Changes/EOT.
