Problem Solving I use the acronym DANCE to follow the process by Defining the problem, Obtain Alternatives to the problem, Narrow it down, Choose & check the consequences, Effect (act) on it. Analytical

Thinking

Lateral Thinking

Conceptual

thinker

In line with the Problem-Solving skill I must apply analytical thinking whereby I allow myself in answering different questions, specifically form a logical reasoning style. This will then result in me to obtain the required background information. Within all of this I also can grasp and explain complex information. In doing this it requires me to think laterally, conceptualise everything obtained and conclude a conceptual solution(s), thereby ensuring an effective result as expected by my clients.

Interpersonal Relationship building and working together in a team is for me of utmost importance, because I believe as a Team one can achieve far more than an Individual and therefore I continually do self-investigation into myself to ensure that I can interact effectively with anyone/anybody at any given time.

Result

driven/orientated

When anything is bestowed upon me, I orientate and drive myself in getting the required results expected of me within time and budget restraints, handling any constraints and issues that come my way. I see myself as positive, with an attitude that allows me that I Can, I Will, I Shall, and I do! Quality I believe in Quality and therefore always and continuously make use of other resources and /or methods to determine that what I deliver is of a high standard and complies to my customer’s needs.

Knowledge

Seeking

Learning

Within the SDLC framework self-learning & knowledge seeking skills is required from me as an individual. I always want to know more and improve any skill I have or adapt new skills required.

Communication Effective communication is essential and therefore when conveying something to someone whether in writing or verbally I always like to ask questions to determine whether the receiver understands what I conveyed.

Persistent Perseverance and Persistence is one of my strongest skills as I don’t give up. The more complex the issues I face, the more persistent I get in resolving the issues I am responsible for finding a solution, even if it means that I have to stand on my own and influence others to come to the same
