Merchandising/PD & Production:
Sourcing, development & execution of knits business independently in line with San Francisco Hub Office Team.
Taking care of business volume out of India worth $ 40 Million per annum
Product development, price negotiations. Define, manage and communicate the product road map, including creating and executing a detailed product plan defining the evolution of the product including quality management
Managing critical path on regular basis by establishing TNA summary with vendors & following it up on regular basis to do order tracking.

It’s a Garment Buying House cum supply chain management group which is into the sourcing of Garments, Home Furnishings & other textile items like Yarns & Fabrics from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh for U.S & European Principles.
Job Responsibilities:
Understanding buyer’s requirement / Product development:
Getting the blue print of developments like designs, print & embroidery mock ups, pit loom samples, sketches etc and planning the development strategy accordingly.
Understanding pricing targets, development deadlines etc needed to shortlist the vendor for new developments.
Setting up the collection/range with Vendor as per client’s requirement & market match.
Vendor Identification and development:
Short listing the garment manufacturers based on their expertise in related developments from our vendor matrix in South Asia.
Pursuing the new developments from short listed vendors on the basis of factory evaluation, quality of development, pricing & on-time delivery.
Coordinating with these factories to make them understand the theme of development in order to ensure that the attained design/sample is exactly up to buyer’s satisfaction.
Co-ordinations & Negotiations:
Direct presentations to the buyer and actively involved in costing & price negotiations for the buyer.
Finalizing the factory on the basis of their submissions, quality, price, infrastructural background & abilities to handle the specified volumes.
Single point of interface between the buyer & garment factories for the smooth functioning & timely completion of project.

Coordinating with buyers & suppliers and conduct buying and production meetings, time and action plans for the execution of an order.
Production Planning and Control by coordinating with buyer and supplier.

Based on buyer feedback, arranging the fabric swatches, garment samples of the products in which the buyer shows interest.
Arranging the overseas visit or inviting the buyer to have a look at the facilities of vendors capable of doing their products.
