• Responsible for the production and flow assurance for over 700 wells across a 2890km2 oil portfolio.

• Design and implement a powerful drilling program for deep core petroleum deposit; liaising with Geologists and Engineers to create extraction lines, monitoring performance to ensure maintain an average >1 MM boepd rate.

• Perform feasibility evaluations for entrapment areas; collaborating with the completion engineering team to estimate the cost and resources required to extract petroleum from targeted areas and support production forecasting.

• Assist in the design and planning of well placement, determining the proper injection rates needed to produce flow based on the geological and seismological characteristics of the area.

• Manage the integration of production data to I Field System.

• Led the implementation and evaluation of remote monitoring technology to support operational streamlining and optimisation across people, processes and systems.

• Execute stimulation, fracturing logging and workover activity to optimize/repair well performance. CRAIG GODDARD

• Engage with senior stakeholders to update on project progress, communicating risks and issues and plans to mitigate these.

• Manage multiple work methods, ensuring each are technically sound, safe, economically viable, feasible and consistent; ensuring all activities adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

• Lead a global team of oil workers/crew across the global offshore network, utilising interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocating sound financial/business decision making through a “lead by example” approach.

Senior Production Engineer 11/2012 – 03/2016

Dubai Petroleum / United Arab Emirates

• Engaged to lead the Production and Petroleum Engineering function across the rapidly declining offshore Falah oilfield.

• Conducted production monitoring across wells; analysing results to create completion performance and integrated asset models to support enhancement techniques and develop fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Collaborated with relevant individuals to optimise production, production capacity and manage/reduce well constraints.

• Conducted economic analysis to support production optimisation measures including well interventions, well operating envelopes, procedures, and integrity management processes/measures.

• Provided engineering oversight and guidance of monitoring, management and remediation measures for downhole corrosion, hydrate, scale, waxes, including chemical treatment and well interventions; leading stimulation projects.

• Collaborated with Process and Subsurface engineers on surface/subsurface metering functional specifications for production monitoring.

• Identified opportunities for MPLT logging and interpretation of results.

• Aligned with contractors to reduce cost and promote continuous improvement.

• Spearhead the introduction of tracer technology to review water flood performance and set injection targets.

• Provided artificial lift and early production input for FDP studies in Rashid 2 field.

• Participated in engineering network and the distribution of lessons learned and information sharing. Principal Petroleum Engineer 03/2012 – 11/2012

Perenco, Wytch Farm/ UK

• Engaged to lead a team of Production and Reservoir Engineers; overseeing operations in extended reach, conventional producer and injector wells.

• Worked within a multidisciplinary subsurface team in support of field development and responsible for optimizing the performance of existing development wells; providing expertise on troubleshooting issues.

• Identified well intervention opportunities and developed workover proposals for field implementation.

• Undertook petroleum engineering studies and project work in line with the company objectives; communicating progress and the findings of the study to multi-disciplinary teams.

• Held responsibility for the production database which includes monthly allocation, well tests, parameters, events, deviation and static pressure data, ensuring both data quality and data entry process from the field to HQ.

• Assessed and reported reservoir and well performance, identifying performance deviations, production improvement options and additional surveillance needs.

• Prepared well surveillance plans, processes and tools for efficiently monitoring well performance

• Undertook diagnosis well performance deviations to identify causes.

• Identified production well candidates for remedial well work (workovers, stimulation, recompletions, etc) that add value through improved gas production and reservoir performance.

• Prepared remedial well work value propositions, obtaining necessary approvals to well services for field implementation and execution.

• Led reservoir and well performance production loss review meetings, validating reservoir and well production losses and identifying options for eliminating future production losses.
