Provide support and assistance to senior management and project personnel to guarantee that project quality objectives are achieved in a timely manner.

Provide QMS performance data as requested by the QA/QC Manager for reporting purposes.

Assisting and supporting contract administration, quality control and the development/improvement of quality assurance policies and procedures.

Manages the NCR, CAR, programs for the respected packages with a direct link to the PMC Quality Manager on all issues.

Providing regular written reports and support to the QA/QC Manager.

Suggests and negotiates with the Manager improvements to invert negative trends impacting the project.

Support other quality personnel in monitoring Contractor’s work execution during the construction phase.

Enhance and demonstrate commitment to raising HSE standards and proposing new initiatives or improvements.

Support other quality personnel (Coordinators and Inspectors) in monitoring Contractor’s work execution during the construction phase.

Manages the quality control and surveillance plan activities for the respected unit, assigns planned surveillance activities to his respective inspectors as required or may perform the duties himself if time permits.

Monitor performance of the Contractor / Sub-contractor and identify, raise any quality / workmanship concerns with the resident engineer.

Evaluate the QA/QC system implementation by the contractor on site and ensure the compliance with their Quality manual.

Ensure the contractor provides QA/QC procedures, method statements and current document at the locations where they are to be used (Note: this will include code/standards referenced in the specifications, method statements and inspection test plan).

Random inspection of on-site materials, off-site materials to be used in the project.

Assist in the review and approval of the contractor’s QA/QC system and procedures.

Assist and support contract administration, quality control and the development/improvement of quality assurance policies and procedures.

Assist in the review of all contractor quality/testing submissions.

Participation in an audit of the contracted erection companies, where needed.

Review and approval for release of required documents for erection work, welding procedure specifications, process qualification records, etc.

Review of qualification certificates of welders scheduled to perform work; quality assessment of welder performance qualification tests and specimen qualification welds.

Assist with regular audits/surveillance to ensure proper compliance with procedures.

Checks to ensure that welding materials are used and stored according to specific procedures.

Complete or random (spot) checks of weld inspections and assessments in accordance with the contract, the applicable codes, standards and specifications and QA / QC procedures.

Checks to ensure proper storage and transport of material on site.

Assist in the initiation of appropriate QA support, materials and processes for the construction team.

Review and approval for release of weld inspection documents and reports, radiographs, ultrasonic testing records etc.

Checks of site supporting facilities, inspection of tools and materials to ensure suitability for use, safety and reliability, and that such tools and materials are available in the necessary quantities.

Checks to ensure cleanliness (in particular the interior of piping systems), and that openings are properly closed and sealed for transport purposes, arranging random checks, signing / initialing of test reports.

Review and acceptance of testing of welding documentation, check for completeness.

Support work for regulatory authorities and / or third-party organizations for acceptance testing, and stipulation of special procedures within the framework of the applicable codes, standards and specifications,

Provides weekly, bi - weekly or monthly quality reports to PMC Quality Manager for issuance to company.
