Responsibilities & Skills
Knowledge of start up, emergency handling, routine checks and troubleshooting.
Carry out routine and preventive maintenance work, repair and testing of equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and standards to fulfill the requirements of the work request or work order.
Preventive maintenance activities maintenance and participate in the assigned plant shutdown activities and ensure timely completion of job activities.
Verification of completed maintenance activities to ensure that the job is performed as per requirement and complete the maintenance activity sheet.
Inspection and exercise vigilance to identify any developing problem in the area assigned and reporting the problems.
Trouble shooting, repairing calibration and testing various types of process control instruments and relay logic, to keep the instrumentation systems as designed.
Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on all equipment on site as well as during machine scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns to ensure the availability of all equipment in reliable conditions during running and prevent unforeseen trips.
Perform field and system modifications of control elements and control loops as per plant change requests and assist to update all related plant drawings to reflect the actual changes thus enhancing the plant operation in line with the management of change of procedure.
Assist in upgrading and retrofitting of new control instruments to the existing panels in the field and main control room & completion of modifications.
Knowledge of using Different type of calibrators.
Involve in Installation, Commissioning and Pre-commissioning activity with multi-vendor during many kind of instruments installation and commissioning.
Reviews all drawing P&ID, Hook up and wiring.
Involve in logic test of critical equipment.
Ensure that all tools and test equipment are kept in a clean and serviceable condition.
Provide technical assistance and support as required, to the Operations Team during process shut down and start up
To ensure adherence to HSE Standards and Guidelines in all areas of their work.
Train and coach junior colleagues and on-the-job Trainees
Understand the hazards associated with the task involved and implement controls in consultation with supervisors
Ensure that company HSE Policies and Procedures are followed.
Maintenance of Control systems equipment which include ESD, PLC, DCS, and Machine Monitoring Systems.
Good working knowledge of ERP & MS Office.
Fluent in English language, both written and verbal with high communication

I am performing my duties as a senior Instrument & Control Technician in Fatima Fertilizer Co, Ltd Sadiqabad (Pakistan) from JUNE-2011 to till date.
I worked as Apprentice trainee technician for two year from June 2009 to June 2011 in Pakarab Fertilizer Company Multan, Pakistan.
