with making decorations and decorating school events for the kindergarten and first grade class)

04/2013-06/2013- Volunteered services for hospice with a family friend. Helped to coordinate care
with hospice organization and speed up process for patient as she was no longer able to make it to
the clinic for evaluation for hospice. Continued to work with the hospice nurses and social workers
to help summarize the patient’s overall status and wishes with the family.
Participated, in the beginning, with providing nursing and medical assistance until hospice could be
officially assigned to the patient. The patient’s husband was also quite elderly. He had just recently
suffered a stroke. Provided assistance to him as well until his family could arrive from out of
town. Helped the husband to explain the patient’s situation over the phone; educated neighbors
and close support system as to the patients’ overall medical status and needs.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS
Nutrition-Raised by dietician. Have volunteered with mother to see diabetic patients. Continued to
have interest in using “food as medicine” throughout my medical career.
Art- Personally and in use for art therapy with patients with Alzheimer’s and sensory perception
disorders/autism.
Music-Personally; studied the cello and participated in the Prescott Symphony Orchestra during
high school. Worked with a psychiatrist utilizing the Tomatis theory. Use of high frequency music
(Mozart) as well as art therapy utilized to work with patients suffering from mental health disease
as well as dyslexia.

8/15/2014-8/2015: Working as stay at home mom as well as addressing issues such as child custody
12/2008-8/2020: There are time gaps due to having a high risk pregnancy; being a stay at home
mother; going through a divorce, changing from Gastroenterology to Internal Medicine in order to
still be able to care for my daughter with being a single mother.
8/2016-4/2017- Searching with Weatherby for appropriate job that allows to work every 2 weeks in
order to be a stay at home Mom for my 7 year old daughter (share 50% custody with father) and
well as spent extra time with my daughter during the during months of COVID-19.
