From Mar’08 to June 2011 with an Italian Multinational, 100 % EOU

(Consumer Durables), Mumbai, as GM Production. Presently engaged with same company as Independent Cconsultant for quality & quantity at manufacturing facilities in India & China. I am also a consultant for an Electric Motor Manufacturing unit belonging to a large business house in India

Responsibilities

Managing the entire gamut of activities related to production.

Adherence to stringent quality norms of European markets.

Extensive reporting to European Office.

Meeting the quantity & quality norms at Plants in India & Quality norms at plant in China.

I approve & forward goods worth INR 200 million (approx.) to parent companies in Italy.

Highlights

In-charge of the project of dismantling a manufacturing facility in Italy and making it operative in Indian facility located at Thane district of Maharashtra.

As team leader responsible for timely project completion, Recruitment, Training, Process stabilisation & achieving production norms. Achieved all the mile stones exactly as per plan till end.

Extensive reporting to Japanese bosses, where every function was headed by a Japanese professional.

Highlights

Executing the projects (from green field stage to commissioning of the project), where architects & construction company was Japanese. Project was realised 48 hrs. before scheduled time.

Joined this project at green field stage & was involved in project execution, development of tooling, stabilisation of production process and establishment of systems in production, Q.A. and maintenance.
