UPS/ OneRail – Industry Client Project - Project Manager (Role) January 24th- March 11th
Lead a team of 5 students over the course of over three months working directly with the director of last mile delivery.
Goal was to identify aspects and resolve issues regarding last mile deliveries
Team responsibilities included creating an efficient and detailed idea making the last mile deliveries more efficient by researching and speaking to competitors.
As a Project Manager my responsibilities were to ensure all the team members were motivated and worked in a efficient team environment. Individual responsibilities as a Project Manager included creating a schedule, WBS, Gantt Chart, Milestones list, Risk Matrix, Stakeholders Matrix and ensuring that the team conformed with the client’s requirements.
Presented directly to the director and CEO.
Director and CEO were onboard with the idea and I was offered an internship over the summer to working alongside them in Orlando.
Project was a success; client was satisfied with the idea.
