Product management: At Walmart, current role includes managing a suite of products in the benefits/compensation technology services area of GBS. These products include Associate Discount Card services for global associate population and Equity for the global associate populateio.

Program management. At Walmart, served as one of the key leaders on several large-scale, strategic efforts including the Storewide Wi-Fi Refresh Project and the Storewide Switch Refresh Project. Led efforts to drive down overall costs to align with EDLC/EDLP methodology, implemented Agile methodology to achieve significant cost savings and delivered under budget and ahead of schedule. Developed new processes to allow for increased speed and risk mitigation creating Super Integrator program. Created new contractual agreements and process to streamline key services on a global scale.

Contract management. At Walmart, served as global SME for Cisco contracts and overall relationship. Successfully restated master Agreement, replacing paper that was 16 years old with a forward-looking, global agreement. At McKesson, averaged one contract per day ranging from $1.5M to $20M. For instance, managed an Assignment and Assumption Agreement with Catholic and Jewish Hospitals involving 57 facilities, total contact value of $20M. At Rinnai, managed an OEM contract with A.O. Smith with complex intellectual property licensing language and channel of sales definition; the contract was valued at $7.5M across three years.

Contract negotiations and drafting. At Walmart, successfully and consistently achieved cost savings on an annual basis exceeding goal by 20%. Created strong synergistic-focused relationships with business partners to focus on value and define success. Strong negotiator, skilled drafter, and organized manager who proactively engages key stakeholders to identify expected deliverables and ROI from a contract. At Delta, renegotiated terms for a $1.5M research agreement with Gartner Research Group resulting in a cost savings of 25% in first year and 50% in second year. At Rinnai, structured a tiered contract that reduced exposure $5M, or 12%, across three years.

Risk, exposure, compliance and liability analysis. Proven ability to assess real or potential exposure to the organization from either a financial liability or other area of risk. Soon after joining Rinnai, canceled or renegotiated high-dollar marketing contracts and saved millions of dollars. For instance, negotiated the cancellation of a contract with NASCAR and saved $8M. Renegotiated a contract with Cal Ripkin and saved $2.8M.

Healthcare Contract Management. At NASCO (owned by Blue Cross Blue Shield entities) and McKesson, managed and drafted complex multiple facility agreements for proprietary software, medical technology, systems, and hardware, including maintenance, and labor services.

Global Strategic Sourcing. At The Coca-Cola Company and Panasonic, successfully and proactively engaged with project management teams to realize cost saving benefit of greater than $400 million dollars due to strategic negotiations with proposed suppliers / vendors.

IT Procurement. Success in managing RFP/RFQ/RFI program for clients resulting in competitive pricing from vendors/suppliers. Averaged realized savings per negotiation between $1 million - $40 million dollars, depending on project scope and implementation stages.

Successfully renegotiated the Global Maintenance and Support Agreement with Cisco for 24/7, next business day, 365 global services and support realizing annual cost savings of over $30 million. Locked in term for 7 years.

Created preferred vendor pilot program to leverage efficiencies of Walmart’s Tier 1 installation vendors where the vendors became the strategic sourcing partners on behalf of Walmart allowing us to move forward faster from end-to-end. Stood up the ‘Data Center of the Future’ in 90 days through this innovative program.

Led Managed Services team for Professional Services and restructured the way Walmart managed its service vendors. Resulted in cost savings of over $80 million annually by moving vendors to SOWs with defined deliverables, SLAs, and penalties for missed deadlines.
