This position required the orchestration and development of products for Polo Ralph Lauren Wom- en’s Soft Tops by assessing and creating garment specifications, tech packs, and standards within PLM. As product technician, daily responsibilities were to own and develop product from the 1st proto to the final production approval stage. This role presented the opporntunity to demonstrate a strong level of communication, technical, and problem-solving skills. DEVELOPMENT OF TECH PACKS IN PLM

Verify all correct components are available to build and complete tech pack. Identify risks with fit, execution, and construction within assigned categories. Execute garment measuring and full external and internal garment evaluations of fabric, construc- tion & overall finishing.

Submit requests for mockups and revisions after Design review (i.e.: embossing, scales, artwork placement, engineered embellishment placement, patchwork, details, etc.) Collaborate and coordinate with Design and PD to offer options to meet design teams goals and margin targets for new fits and constructions.

Update comments, construction details and photos for fittings in PLM. Communicate across teams ensuring that seasonal deadlines are met and product delivery goals were successuful.

Ensure details, aesthetic intent and construction were consistent from vendor to vendor on like styles.

Maintain workload efficiently to meet individual deadlines and pull information from PLM when needed.

Support other team members when needed.

Correspond with sourcing offices and suppliers to ensure questions were answered and details were clear and concise.
