Charles Nyaberi has more than 25 years’ experience in managing integrated community programs under the auspices of 2 INGOs, Marie Stopes International and Pathfinder International, one National State parastatal - National AIDS Control Council and several Government Ministries. He played a leading role in developing, managing, implementing, researching, and advising on Monitoring and Evaluation, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Adolescent and Youth Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS/TB, Reproductive Health/Family Planning programs. He has managed key Ministry of Health and National AIDS Control Council national programs funded by both multilateral and bilateral development partners. Charles successfully managed complex USAID, DfID, World Bank and other Donor funded technical assistance programs ensuring full donor compliance and alignment to the national policies, strategic plans and secured follow on projects. Charles has valuable expertise in Orphans and Vulnerable Children programs, HIV Prevention, care, treatment and support, PMTCT, HIV/TB integration, RH including MNCH, AYSRH, FP, STIs, Appropriate integration of HIV and RH/FP, Gender issues, SRHR, Advocacy, OVC support programming, Grants Management, health systems strengthening, health policy and capacity building of health human resource.

Charles' credentials include holding high leadership and management positions providing strategic directions and thinking; development and implementation of strategic plans and M&E plans, identifying and designing new projects. He has had programmatic, financial and administrative oversight of national MOH programs and donor funded health projects, preparing programmatic and financial reports with tight timelines and contractual requirements, documenting best practices, lessons learnt and sharing among staff and key stakeholders. His achievements also include developing appropriate human resource capacity to meet programs objectives.
