My background includes a 20-year military career in the U.S. Marines where I served in a wide variety of senior administrative and logistical positions, followed by two very lucrative entrepreneurial adventures in the U.S.

It’s my most recent position that will be of most interest to you. I relocated to the Philippines almost 4 years ago and in January, 2017 I took the position of Director at the Mirfeel English Academy in Cebu. There I transformed the academy and the curriculum into a model resident school where students from all over Asia came to receive the most comprehensive English study available. I was focusing on the launch of an online version of the academy when COVID put a halt to those plans. So my family and I moved to my wife’s hometown in Tubod, Lanao Del Norte to ride out the storm, but I’m eager to get back to doing what I love most...teaching English.

I am proficient at the technical, grammatical aspects of English as well as the unique challenges of teaching English as a second language.
