Roles and Responsibilities

Monitor and participate in daily Job briefing meetings & tool box talks.

Conducting HSE Induction Training and other job specific Training.

Responsible for ensuring that safe work practices and requirements are being implemented.

Monitor the site and inspect current activities, working conditions, plant and equipment to ensure HSE compliance.

Advise the area engineers and foremen regarding unsafe conditions or violations and remedial action required.

Determine cause of unsafe acts and conditions through procedure review, equipment and facilities inspection, and worker observation with corrective action recommendations provided.

Carry out daily visual inspection of safety provisions of the ongoing site activities (excavations, scaffoldings, plant& equipment, Lifting & rigging gear, fire extinguishers, electrical connections, etc.) prior to start of each working day. Make sure routine checks carried out by competent personnel on daily basis (electrician, scaffolding supervisor and rigging foreman).

Participating in site HSE inspection walkthrough, internal HSE audits, internal HSE meeting.

Ensuring that necessary permits approved method statement and risk assessment are in place during the execution of works.

Monitoring the fire safety arrangements, emergency arrangements for its adequacy and compliance.

Maintain Record for Incident Report, Inspection Checklist, Third Party Inspection & Training Certificates Waste Disposal Log and permit of Disposal, Construction work permit issued by the Government
