General Manager – Aggregate Products and Sales
Directs sales efforts generating over $ 13 Million worth of steel slag at 38 locations in the US and Canada.
•Successfully introduced steel slag as an aggregate in dry cast concrete applications by promoting its use via trade organizations and specific customer trials, resulting in the first commercial use of steel slag as an aggregate at a dry cast producer in North America
•Increased revenue by $1 million with same tonnage in 2017 compared to 2016 by focusing sales team on increasing price per ton
•Increased average price per ton by over 28% since taking over the slag sales department by focusing on changing the culture of the slag sales department and perception of slag in the market
•Implemented a ‘merchant fee,’ which helped recapture over $225k of lost revenues from 2017 to present
