Project & Activities

• Patient Safety Scorecard Project- Implemented patient safety scorecard in a group of 3 people using Leapfrog measure. For an assumed organization. Our team created the data and used the metrics for strategic planning of the organization.

• Strategic Plan Paper- Presented a strategic plan paper in a group of 5 people which included internal and external analysis, SWOT analysis of an organization. Based on the analysis, four strategies were suggested that could help the organization to be an ACO.

• Root Cause Analysis –Presented a group project based on the root cause analysis of a sentinel event took place at Ventura Medical Center.

• Opioid Crisis- It was an individual presentation that included the negative impact of opioid crisis on the health economy and suggestions address this issue.

• Workflow presentation- Presented a workflow presentation on planning including 3 different workflow diagrams with different number of activities.

• Data Analysis- Data analyses of one of the Virginia’s hospital by comparing its readmission data to the local, state and national level with the help of Tableau software. Using this data analysis different solutions were suggested to reduce the readmission rates.

• Capstone Project- Individual project addressing the challenges of recruiting and retaining students for health surveys and suggesting the strategies to increase the number of students to be recruited and retained in the heath surveys.
