Work Experience :

1. 09 March 2015 till today: Working as consultant physician CMH Lahore and teaching as Assistant professor of medicine at CMH Lahore medical college Lahore. Pakistan

Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore : is a 600 plus bedded tertiary care,teaching hospital . It has all the specialities of medicine like pulmonololgy.,gastroentrology, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, as well as fully equipped laboratory and MRI /CT scan facilities in Radiolgy. I have worked mostly as consultant general physician in Medical ICU dealing with critically ill patients, as well as working in acute medical wards(both males and females). I am performing on call consultant physician duties 2-3 times a Week. Also attending thrice weekly OPD with a heavy 80-100 patients .I also remained actively involved in teaching Residents of medicine as well as undergraduate medical students. I am also doing my private clinical practice in the evening.

2. 18Jan 2013 till 09.3.2015: .Worked as a consultant physician in CMH Pano Aqil – A large 300-400 bedded hospital which is receiving referral cases from all over SINDH and part of Baluchistan province of Pakistan .I was Head of the Department of Internal Medicine. It is a 300 bedded hospital with facilities of CT Scan,Heamodialysis .There I was looking after a medium size- 10 bedded ICU where i was managing all sorts of medical emergencies independently .Daily Out Patient load was about 200.

3. September 2007 till Nov 2012 - :

Working as Consultant Physician, in Pakistan Air Force Hospital at Faysal Base Karachi.Pakistan.

This is a 200 bedded Hospital with a heavy workload. OPD attendance is about 150- 200 daily. There i am managing all the serious medical emergencies like Acute M.I. Severe asthma. status epilepticus, stroke, etc in a well equipped Intensive Care Unit with facilities of cardiac monitoring, defibrillation,ventilator support, central oxygen supply etc. Also Performing E.T.T, Spirometry etc .There is also a heamodialysis unit working under my supervision.

During this period i also attended a three month intensive skill enhancement programe, as consultant physician, at one of the largest hospitals of Karachi,Pakistan Naval Ship( PNS) Shifa- a state of art tertiary care hospital, more than 1000 bedded .It is a teaching hospital for undergraduate and post graduate doctors .It has got the facilities of C T SCAN &MRI. There i worked with leading professors of all sub specialities including,ONCOLOGY,PULMONOLOGY,CARDIOLOGY,GASTROENTROLGY

,NEPHROLOGY. I attained an excellent post programme report.

4. 2004 to 2007-:

Worked in a 300 bedded hospital–CMH attock Pakistan, as Senior Registrar for 2 years. I did my FC.P.S Part 2 in medicine .Then became consultant . And then worked as consultant physician for 1 year.This hospital had ICU facilities and an opd attendance of more than 150/day.

5. 2001 to 2004-:

Worked as Registrar in Medicine at a Scouts Hospital,Chitral( Northern ares of Pakistan.There i was providing consultancy to Agha Khan Health Services Pakistan Northern Areas, and also to foreign delegates visiting Chitral .

6. 1999 TO 2001-:

I worked as junior registrar in medicine for 1 year and senior registrar medicine for 1 year, in two of the most prestigious tertiary care, referral

hospitals of Pakistan-THE MILITARY HOSPITAL (M.H) &COMBINED MILITARY HOSPITAL (C.M.H) at Rawalpindi. There i worked with top most professors of Medicine. Milatry Hospital Rawalpindi is state of the art tertiary care hospital .There i worked in all the sub specialities including Gastroentrology,Endocrinology,Pulmonology,Cardiology,Neurology,Medical oncology. I was performing full time resident night duties in 7 days a month,Emergency department resident medicine,10days a month. The out -patient departments duties were20 days a month with a work load of 200-300 patients per OPD.I also skilled my self in procedures like endoscopy,pleural biopsy,liver &renal biopsy, G .I endoscopies, Bronchoscopies /CVP/ TPM /PD catheter/Double lumen catheter/ insertion etc and many more.

At the end of this, i was awarded the degree of Post Graduate Diploma in Medicine.

7. Sep1996 to Dec 1998-:

I worked as a junior registrar in a 600 bedded tertiary care hospital-CMH Quetta, where i worked for one year in gastroenterology,one year in cardiology. There i used to look after both indoor out- door cases along with on-call duties for medical emergencies.

8. 1994 to 1996-:

I qualified my F.C.P.S Part 1 in NOV 1995 while working as a medical officer in one of the peripheral hospitals of Azad Kashmir. Gained experience in field medicine, before joining CMH Quetta in Sep 1996.

9. 1992-1993-:

Completed 1 year house job in one of the topmost hospital -CMH Lahore Pakistan. (6 months medicine&6 months surgery) after graduation in 1992.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

•Has qualified BLS& ACLS Provider course from American Heart Association sub Center in Pakistan-CPSP Karachi.

•Has been affiliated with Aero Medical Institute (A.M.I) in Karachi as faculty member .i deliver lectures to graduate doctors & paramedical staff as consultant physician.

•Has published few research articles in indexed journals of Pakistan

•Attended workshops from most prestigious post graduate college of Pakistan-CPSP Karachi-Pakistan on following:
