This research has given me valuable experience in reading and writing technical papers, as well as advanced knowledge in several machine learning categories, such as supervised and semi-supervised learning, linear and logistic regression, and stopping methods. PROJECTS Blog Web Application in Ruby on Rails Nov. 2020 Created a web application for Software Engineering, under the intention of creating an application that would support social justice and raise awareness to voter disenfranchisement. I implemented an application that allowed users to post and view text in a blog format, as well as upload excel files and csv files containing information, which would be converted to a html table for viewing. This project also contained databases created through SQL, and a login and authentication feature. Video Chatroom in JavaScript Dec. 2020

Implemented a video chat similar to zoom, with the ability to send messages back and forth between users using socketing, in JavaScript

WebScraping and Statistical Analysis in Python Nov. 2020 Implemented WebScraping with Scrapy and Selenium libraries in Python to gather data about product reviews on Amazon.com, in order to determine if user reviews on a product were reflective of the product itself, or if they were biased.

Self Implemented KNN and PCA for datasets in R Mar. 2019 Implemented my own K-nearest neighbors algorithm, and principle component analysis in R, for a datamining and predictive modeling course

Implementation of Machine Learning Functions in Python Sept. 2019 - May 2021 Implemented and modified several different functions into my Machine Learning research group's code base, some of which include confidence calculations for stopping methods, prediction models, and data output.
