Supporting the company’s operations by overseeing the building and grounds maintenance, as well as security and janitorial departments, and other duties as needed.

Able to manage a team that is responsible for ensuring the optimal utilization of the facility.

Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify development of operational electrical machinery and electrical/electronic control equipment, programmable logic control systems supporting 6 miles of conveyor systems.

Work with stand-by generators, air compressors, motor and pump control circuitry. Knowledgeable in CCTV and fire suppression systems.

Work with outside resources to maintain facilities and to complete projects to improve production output.

Procured pricing from various vendors to support cost-effective purchasing and guidance to management regarding project bids for onsite improvements.

Qualifications

Total of 17 years: Five years as Building and Facilities Manager working with 3 Operational Shifts and their leadership to ensure the completion of orders and systems running at their peak, including Security and Janitorial. 12 as Maintenance Manager ensuring all equipment was well maintained in two warehouses.

Two and a half years as a Senior Maintenance Mechanic; Two and a half years as a Senior Electronics Technician. Licensed Commercial

Journeyman Electrician since 1984.

Duties: Manager over Maintenance, Security and Janitorial crews to support and serve 2 Facilities, DC80 and DC83 facilities and systems with 4 Operational shifts and a P.M. shift – 24/7 coverage. Both facilities covering 750 K sq. ft. with 6 miles of conveyor.

Responsible for outside contractors for support needs as well as improvements and projects. In 2009, took over responsibility of 24/7 Security Department dealing with the check in of associates, visitors, deliveries, and out-bound trucks to comply with C-TPAT regulations with a 3-tier rating.
