-Plan and Conduct G-NOFAC for all new Assembled Welding fixtures on Shop Floor.

-Check all the Customer Major Assembly Concern through QCRT System and close all inspection points before dispatched the Fixtures.

SMED Projects

1. Saved one Manpower and Reduction of Setup time in Tryout shop by 20% of Draw Die by introducing Hollow cushion pin on 1300 T and 1600 T.

2. Reduction in Draw die setup time in Tryout shop by 10 mins. on 1300T Press by introduction of Manual to Auto Cushion Pressure setting and fix the position of Clamps (12nos.)

3. Recertification of MYB on Special stopper for reduction of CNC Machine shop.

4. Gold award in QCFI Circle competition-F19 under KK Pillar- Cam slider Setup reduction.

5.Reduced the Setup time 0.17 hr./slider cam in CNC Machine shop by modifying the design of existing stopper-22/24.(Patent application No. is 201*********)-Best Idea winner-July’17.

6. Reduced the Cam slider Post machining setup in CNC Machine shop by 0.33 hr/ slider cam by design the special fixture. – Best Kaizen August ’17.

Work Content reduction Projects

1.Lean project - Ready to fit inserts at RFPM Stage to reduce the Lead time by 1 week from RFPM (Ready for Post machining) to RFT (Ready for trials) Stage.

2.Reduced the Work content of Blank holder by 50% (Saved @ 80 mins. /Draw die) by modifying the design of rib at design stage.

3.Ready to fit Shim for Die Button assembly reduce the manual Shim preparation activity (Saved @ 25 mins / Non Draw die)

Plant Safety TPM Circle Competition award

1.Winner in CII TPM Circle – F19 competition under SHE Pillar.

2.Elimination of Hazard by design and introduction of New scrap collection pallet with angular fixture on Shearing machine.

Ergonomics Projects

1. Reduction of Associates twisting & bending movement by 25% fixing Small insert Base spotting Assembly Workstation.

2. Design and manufacture inside Cutters /Boring bar handling trolley for eliminate the Manual handling cause muscular fatigue to operator.

3. Work station standardization for Flame Hardening Smaller & Bigger inserts to

Save operator time @ 0.25 hrs / insert.

4. Reduced the Operator bending movement@25 % during spacer lifting by Implementing Spacer bin stand.

5. Reduction in the size and weight of hitting rod from 780 mm to 600 & 15 kg to 9 kg for reduce the muscular fatigue of officer (Yellow to Green stage)

6. Reduction in the size and weight of Spacers through diameter modified from 120 to 85 (11.5 kg to 9 kg) for reduce the muscular fatigue of officer (Yellow to Green stage )

7. Waste to Wealth initiative: - Provide Aluminum scrapped Gear box (H260) to reduce the Bending posture of associates at welding fixture assly. By 30%.
