• Responsible for contacting commercial and residential property owner and management companies via the phone and in person through leads generated by myself and provided by FZC to offer our assistance in possibly eliminating their NFIP Flood Insurance Policies (National Flood Insurance Program instituted by the Government) that their lender is requiring them to buy because they have deemed their buildings are in high risk flood zones (SFHA-Special Flood Hazard Areas) according to FEMA's flood insurance rate map (FIRM) and not covered under their property policy,

• My first objective was to have a consultative discussion about their portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties and what their coverage limits and deductibles were according to their property policy, then ascertain what percentage of those properties they were buying NFIP policies on that they could take advantage of the free flood risk analysis we offered to try to eliminate or reduce those flood insurance costs.

• My second objective was to obtain the flood policy declarations pages, elevation certificates, and site map and surveys which were necessary documents needed to determine their buildings were built in a flood safe manner according to FEMA's rules and regulations to be reclassified out of the high risk flood zones.

• Our goal once the analysis was completed is to advise the client of our determinations and send them a contract for their signature authorizing us to petition FEMA on their behalf to issue a LOMA (Letter of Map Amendment) reclassifying those buildings out of the high risk flood zones, and their lender would then eliminate the flood insurance requirement on them.

• Lastly, once we've shown the client a savings on their flood insurance we would then try to be their BOR (Broker of Record) and provide quotes for their property and casualty insurance through our sister company CRIO (Convert Risk into Opportunity) and hopefully write those policies.
