Facilities and Operations Construction Manager
I manage staff of 12 to 30 union carpenters, various subcontractors and suppliers. I oversee the continuous building and renovation of existing display areas, as well as galleries, exhibition casework and office fit outs and event setups. Perform all estimating, and schedule and staff for facilities repairs. Handle purchasing for the Construction Department. Solely responsible for determination of necessary repairs and solution conception and implementation, reporting directly to the Director of Facilities and Operations.
Lead team of 12-20 people in Exhibitions builds in excess of $500,000.
Teams located at The Phila. Museum Of Art, The Rodin Museum and The Perelman Bldg. as well as the Fairmount Park Mount Pleasant Mansion and Cedar Grove Mansion.
Manage estimation and purchasing for 20 to 30 art exhibition builds, dozens of office, restaurant and retail fit outs and numerous major and minor facility repairs and modifications per yr. ranging in cost from $15,000-$350,000 per year.

Also purchased improved and unimproved building lots, designed and built new homes sold on speculation as well as under contract. Managed hiring process, performed all building lot and prospective building lot acquisitions, designed and estimated all work, performed all book keeping and maintenance of all records, and sold finished homes directly to buyers.
