As end user Hendrickson Trailer controlled steel pricing by getting it from several distributors, we won a significant piece of the business with support from the steel mill and transparency on pricing inputs with Hendrickson

Provided potential leads to outside sales

Advised company owners on data-based cost controls and methods to improve profitability

Transformed the business/work culture, which improved treatment of employees and enhanced professionalism, a work in progress

Established a new formal credit policy with CFO to address the lack of written trade credit policy with new customers, providing insurance of nearly all customer receivables with Euler-Hermes and Profit Guard

Worked with an outside credit insurance concern to ensure credit worthiness of customer and protect receivables

Met regularly with union officials as key team member, and conducted contract negotiations with the Teamsters and annual healthcare contracts with carriers, winning regular employee benefit renewals and working with outside counsel to achieve all labor contract goals

Established lucrative relationships with steel mill sourcing and external risk management entities

Provided support at customer site visits with sales team

Opened a new Las Vegas plant and achieved full production in just 90 days on board approval
