Job Description

Cash and Clearing Settlement Manager

- Manage the operations of Cash Centers and Central Clearing of Maybank Philippines, Inc. (MPI) ensuring operations are compliant with policies and procedures of the bank.

- Manage offsite ATMs of the bank which include cash replenishment, reconciliation and balancing, and ATM machine maintenance.

- Liaise with Philippine Clearing House Corporation (PCHC) on matters related to Check Image Clearing System

(CICS) and Cash Management.

- Responsible for process improvement and automation of manual processes.

Risk Manager

- Responsible in the assessment, management, and

reporting operational risks and develop policies and procedures to mitigate such risks.

Business Continuity Manager

- Responsible in instituting business continuity plan from potential threats that will ensure personnel and asset protection and be able to function quickly in the event of a disaster.

People Management

- Review of performance of the team members based on key performance indicators.

Projects Implemented

- Outsourcing of cash services which include deposit pick- up from clients, change funds, branch cash requirement, ATM servicing (i.e., loading of cash, and first line maintenance). Outsourcing involves other significant documents requiring

management approval such as the following:

- Implemented Check Image Clearing System (CICS) in MPI without any financial loss to the bank. The project involves different stages from selection of service provider, scoping, series of testing, policy formulation, training, and system implementation. MPI was one of the banks who participated in the initial and partial implementation of CICS.
