Led a team of four engineers to achieve a strategic objective set recently by Pepesico to abide all PepsiCo Egypt plants to FM global requirements for fire fighting by 2015. Project budget approximately 4MM USD (2013 and 2014 only). Project includes design and installation of fire fighting network and alarm system in most areas in the plant according to FM Global guide lines, design and install damage limiting construction for ammonia compressors room and design and installation of civil supporting systems for steel and concrete structures to handle the new piping loads. Project required high communication with quality department and production department and plants managers to ensure that installation wouldn’t compromise quality regulations and would not affect production schedule. In 2013, project was executed in Nasr city, October and Portsaid plants in parallel. In 2014, project is being executed in Menya, Sohag and Portsaid in parallel.
DC’s firefighting 2013 & 2014
Led a project with budget of 1.2 MM USD (2013 and 2014 only) to design and install fire fighting and fire alarm system according to national regulation in 7 DC’s (distribution centers). Project team included one report engineer.
