I was transferred from the Recruitment Department to the IT Department of SAN Contracting.
1.I am responsible for basic day to day operations on servers, network, phone system and general IT functions when the IT Manager requires assistance or is not available.
2.Due to my extensive experience in the System Life Cycle I am able to develop Time and Attendance Systems for SAN Contracting Services. The salaries department previously used Excel to draw up schedules and timesheets with extensive formulas to work out salaries to be paid. I saw the need to streamline the process and cut out human error. After process analysis, I design and developed a SQL database with an Access frontend to replace Excel for various sites Time and Attendance.
3.These systems assist the Salary Department with Timesheet Management and the Debtors department with Invoicing. These Systems are Site specific and various methods are used to compile Timesheet information e.g. in some case an electronic Time Verification Report is received and then changed to be imported into the system tables in SQL. Some sites still work with manual Timesheets which in turn is captured on these systems. Adding Time and Attendance information into these Systems then generates pay information which is downloaded and imported into VIP Payroll. Invoice information is extracted from these Systems and uploaded into Sage Pastel to create Invoices.
4.These Systems runs on SQL Server 2012 RS and the frontend is written in Microsoft Access 2013
5.Developing these Systems streamlined the pay and invoice procedures, cut down on man-hours and human error and saved money on overtime paid to employees.
6.We are working towards making these systems available on the intranet to all our staff to make Time Management easier, more effective and cost saving.
7.I developed our Company’s Intranet using Code Charge Studio 5, database running on SQL Server 2012 RS. No formal training.
8.Currently working on a comprehensive Community Skills Audit Solution using Code Charge Studio 5 (HTML, Javascript, PHP), database running on MySQL. Still in development. No formal training.
9.Self-training in OutSystems, developing Reactive Web and Mobile App modules for the Community Skills Audit Solution. Still in development. No formal training.

I was appointed as the Senior Recruitment Administrator to the Recruitment Department of SAN Contracting Services. My duties were as follows:
1.Implemented various new procedures and standardized processes to improve the workflow

8.In this time I developed an Order Management System from scratch to place, track and management client labor orders. Applying the full System Life Cycle, from liaison with the client to evaluate processes, database design, database development (SQL), front end development (Access), testing, implementation and user support, this system was implemented successfully in the Recruitment Department. The Order Management system runs on SQL Server 2008 RS and the frontend written in Microsoft Access 2013, using ODBC.

I was approached by Martin Fourie to design and develop a personalized Fleet Management System for his group of businesses. This system has been extended since to incorporate modules pertaining to Employees, Properties, Sand and Stone, Assets, Business Partners, Stock, Tires, Personnel Tasks, Orders, Insurances, Internal Fuel Management.
1.Design and develop the individual modules using Access 2007.
2.Investigate the different processes in the business and design and develop the individual modules’ database tables according to findings.
3.Design and create the user-interface linked to the individual tables.
4.Design and create reports for general, administrative and managerial purposes.
5.Originally the tables were created in Access 2007. In December 2011 I upgraded the Access tables to SQL Server 2008 RS, keeping the user-interface on Access 2007.
6.User training of users on the various modules.
7.User support.
8.Maintenance on the existing modules.
9.Currently investigating and designing the change-over of the individual modules to be web-based using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008.
