Assumed full responsibility for managing plant operations for the Martinsville, VA concrete production facility. This includes but is not limited to coordinating and monitoring operations, overseeing driver fleet, yard/batch operators, dispatch, account payable, account receivable, vendor relationships, training, safety, maintenance of plant and direct reports. The concrete plant manager hires, trains, develops, supervises, and motivates employees towards accomplishing departmental and company goals and objectives, Direct sales and customer service/dispatch in servicing customers, coordinating schedules, production planning, direct P&L responsibility, AP/AR invoice responsibility, vendor negotiations, and ownership responsibilities Accomplishments:
