LOTO COORDINATOR

Help to manage activities designed to reduce the risk of accidents & decrease these safety related costs.

Works with Top Management Executives, Engineers, Supervisors and Employees to create Policies to protect employer property and keep employees safe.

Conducts Investigation to determine causes & whether the employees involved were following established safety policies or government safety regulations. Submits findings to prevent similar incident/accident.

Implement safety plans and monitor results.

Deliver trainings such as Safety Induction, Fire Prevention Plans, Fire Protections & Hazardous Materials Communication.

Administer Post training test or review training feedbacks.

Conducts safety inspection & correct them before they cause accident, alone or as part of a group that includes Clients, Consultants, Mgrs., Engineers & Supervisors looking for Unsafe Acts and Conditions such as Hazards of Fires, Blocked Access/Egress, Wet Floors, First Aid Facilities, Well stocked Fire Extinguishers accessible to employees, Etc.

Duties & Responsibilities held:

HSE OFFICER

Conducts frequent site inspection and give reports to the concerned personnel on all adverse remarks to implement the remedial measures.

Conduct Weekly / Monthly EHS Meeting and participate in the Client’s EHS Meeting.

Conducts / Assist the investigation team of Accidents / Incidents/ Near misses and advice management on leaning points.

Plan for EHS Audits and conduct Sub-Contractor’s / Supplier’s Internal EHS Audits.

Interact with all Company’s personnel on EHS matters.

Plan and conduct EHS induction training for all new entrants and other in –house EHS Training programs on need basis.

Conducts / Check toolbox training given by Foreman / Supervisor for every job.

Maintain and update all EHS related documents.

Issue Safely Highlights and Flashes and prepare EHS Statistics.

Advice the line management personnel in displaying the relevant cautionary Instructions, Signs and Symbols in the prominent places.

Prepare the Emergency Response Procedures suitable to the various activities of the Company and the surrounding areas.

Ensure that EHS performance awards are distributed to the right person(s).

Has to go daily inspection and find out the unsafe act / conditions then take the corrective actions as required.

Ensure that all the workforce, Tools and Materials, plants and machineries are complying with the EHS site rules & regulation.

Ensure that all the necessary precautions are in place to save the environment and keep it neat from the waste. All checklists form is to be provided then to be followed.
